A similar problem to the Set Window - Position bug, it is not currently possible (ver 8.5.1) to set the font foreground or background colours in the message window. Using the command;
Set Window WIN_MESSAGE Font MakeFont?("Tahoma", 1, 10, BLUE, BLACK)
will change the font to Tahoma 10 point normal, but will not change the colours.
This has been confirmed by PB MapInfo as a bug in 8.5.1.
