Access the Map Basic Help File from within Ultra Edit

Another feature of Ultra Edit is the ability to add links to Help files to the Ultra Edit Help menu.

Assuming you have Ultra Edit open: Click on Help menu and select Add Help Files. Press the Browse button and navigate to the folder where you installed Map Basic.

Double click on the file: MAPBASIC.HLP or press the Open button.

In the next dialog box, give the Help file link a name Map Basic Help or whatever you like.

To save your entries, press the Insert button.

Now when you are building or editing your MB script and need a little nudge to the noggin, your help file's only a few clicks away.
